Multidisciplinary Research Excellence: Creating synergies between our exciting and diverse research disciplines to make a significant contribution towards understanding and alleviating some of society's major challenges.
The University of Southampton has established a number of multidisciplinary research groups that we call USRGs (University Strategic Research Groups) to develop cross-faculty, multidisciplinary initiatives. The USRGs address key national and international priority research areas, including climate change, energy, the ageing population, high-tech crime and lifestyle diseases.
Multidisciplinary Research Week 2012 was a great success!
We thank everyone who participated and/or attended and look forward to 2013!
